Niger – Passport and Visa Required
Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens
TOURIST VISA
- Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page) – photocopy is not acceptable
- One Visa Application Form completed and signed. The application form must have original signature.
- One Passport Type Photograph
- Proof of Accommodation (hotel confirmation or a signed letter from the host in Niger stating the nature of accommodation).
NOTE: If you submit signed letter from the host in Niger, please submit one of the following: copy of the National ID (if the invitor is a Niger citizen) OR copy of the passport and re-residence visa (applicable if the invitor is NON-Niger citizen). - Computer generated flight itinerary from the travel agent or copy of roundtrip airline ticket
- World Health Certificate required showing valid vaccinations against Yellow Fever (ORIGINAL Card)
- For minor applicants (under 21 years old) – submit the following additional documents: A) copy of the child’s birth certificate showing the parents name, B) a signed the letter of authorization from the parents is only needed if one parent is not applying for a visa. If both parents are applying for a visa then a copy of the itinerary will be sufficient (with the parents names). This letter does need to be notarized.

BUSINESS VISA

- Business Letter from U.S. company
- Travel Authorization OR Letter from the US Government (applicable for contractors for the US Government)
- World Health Certificate required showing valid vaccinations against Yellow Fever (ORIGINAL Card)
