Peru – Passport and Visa Required
Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens
TOURIST VISA
No visa required for a stay 90 days or less. A valid and signed U.S. passport is required.
BUSINESS VISA
- Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page) – photocopy is not acceptable
- Two Visa Application Forms completed and signed. Applications on thermal fax paper are not accepted. The application forms must have original signature. (Section 3 on each application form must include a signature, thumb print, and photo)
- Two passport size photographs
- Letter of invitation on letterhead from a host company or organization in Peru. Invitation should detail intended dates of arrival and departure from the country, your name and passport number, and request any special visa conditions (Multiple Entries visa) if required. Fax or scan is accepted. Invitation Letter MUST be addressed to the Embassy of Peru in Washington DC
