AA Passport & Visa Expedite Services helps first-time applicants apply for a U.S. passport in Dallas, Richardson, and throughout the DFW Metroplex. If you have never had a U.S. passport before, or you are not eligible to renew your previous passport, you will generally apply in person using Form DS-11. Our team can help review your application, citizenship evidence, identification, passport photo, and supporting documents before submission.
First-time adult applicants must appear in person at an authorized passport acceptance facility. You may also need to use Form DS-11 if your previous passport was lost or stolen, issued when you were under age 16, or issued more than 15 years ago. For applicants age 16 or older using Form DS-11, the current October 2026 U.S. Department of State fees are:

For example, a first-time adult applying for a passport book with government expedited processing pays $225 in government fees: $130 application + $35 acceptance + $60 expedite.
Current Department of State processing times are 4–6 weeks for routine service and 2–3 weeks for expedited service, excluding mailing time. Urgent international travel generally requires an appointment at a passport agency when travel is within 14 calendar days.

Please keep in mind that you must come to our office in person to apply for a New Passport, Lost Passport, or Child Passport Processing. We will complete all necessary paperwork, such as an online passport application, photos, and a letter of authorization, and then you will be sent to a Passport Acceptance facility by appointment to have your document verified by a County Clark officer, who will seal the package and return it to you, which must be dropped off at Our Office to begin the process. This will be a hand-carried application to the State Department for a US passport.

A first-time DS-11 application generally requires a completed but unsigned Form DS-11, original or certified evidence of U.S. citizenship, acceptable government-issued photo identification, photocopies of the citizenship and ID documents as required, one passport photo, and payment of the applicable fees. You should not sign Form DS-11 until instructed by the acceptance agent.
The current government cost for a first-time adult passport book is $165 total, consisting of a $130 Department of State application fee and a $35 acceptance-facility fee. A passport card totals $65, while a passport book and card together total $195. Government expedited processing adds $60. AA Passport service fees are separate.
