Tanzania – Passport and Visa Required

Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

NOTE:
As of November 11, 2019, the Embassy of Tanzania no longer issues sticker visa in the passport.  Tanzania is now offering an “E-Visa”.  Travel the World Visas will be able to assist you with the E-visa application – see requirements below (you can send all the required dcuments by e-mail at info@world-visa.com (Processing Time: 10 TO 12 business days – US PASSPORT HOLDERS ONLY.  NO RUSH PROCESSING FOR E-VISA)

TOURIST VISA

• Scanned colored copy of a valid and signed U. S. Passport Data page (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page)
• One Visa Application Form completed and signed. NOTE: Please provide us your PORT OF ENTRY AND PORT OF EXIT (in Tanzania)
• One Passport Type Photograph (with clear or white background) – MUST be colored and in jpg format (good resolution)
• Airline return ticket (in pdf format)
• AA Passport Service order form

BUSINESS VISA

• Scanned colored copy of a valid and signed U. S. Passport Data page (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page)
• One Visa Application Form completed and signed. NOTE: Please provide us your PORT OF ENTRY AND PORT OF EXIT (in Tanzania)
• One Passport Type Photograph (with clear or white background) – MUST be colored and in jpg format (good resolution)
• Airline return ticket (in pdf format)
• A work contract or any proof of the work/assignment to be performed within a period not exceeding three months or a Business Letter from U.S. company (in pdf format)
• Travel the World Visas Service Order Form

For Multiple entries, additional requirements needed:
1) Copy of the valid passport or national ID of the person to be visited in Tanzania (host)
2) Invitation letter from the host in Tanzania detailing the reason and frequency of visit or attached certificate of marriage of a spouse and a passport/national ID (of the applicant comesto visit spouse).
