Costa Rica Visa Information for Dallas TX Travelers

Planning a trip to Costa Rica from Dallas or anywhere in the DFW area? US citizens do not need a visa to visit Costa Rica for tourism or business for stays of up to 90 days. Costa Rica is one of the most popular international destinations for DFW travelers, known for its stunning biodiversity, cloud forests, active volcanoes, Pacific and Caribbean beaches, world-class surfing, and the country’s famous pura vida lifestyle. All you need is a valid US passport with at least 6 months validity and a return ticket out of Costa Rica. AA Passport & Visa in Richardson TX ensures your passport is ready for your Costa Rica adventure. Open 7 days a week. Walk-ins welcome. Call 972-231-1600.

There is no visa required for U.S. citizens traveling for business, tourist, official/diplomatic travel purposes for a maximum stay of 90 days.  A valid and signed U.S. Passport is required.

Register your trip on-line with the U.S. Embassy in this country. Millions of Americans travel abroad every year and encounter no difficulties. However, U.S. embassies and consulates assist nearly 200,000 Americans each year who are victims of crime, accident, or illness, or whose family and friends need to contact them in an emergency. When an emergency happens, or if natural disaster, terrorism, or civil unrest strikes during your foreign travel, the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate can be your source of assistance and information. By registering your trip, you help the embassy or consulate locate you when you might need them the most. Registration is voluntary and costs nothing, but it should be a big part of your travel planning and security.
