Madagascar – Passport and Visa Required
Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens
TOURIST VISA
- Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page) – photocopy is not acceptable
- One Visa Application Form completed and signed. The application form must have original signature.
- One Passport Type Photograph
- Computer generated flight itinerary from the travel agent or copy of roundtrip airline ticket
- Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required if the traveler stayed in an affected area 6 days prior to the trip
- AA Passport Service order form
BUSINESS VISA
- Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page) – photocopy is not acceptable
- One Visa Application Form completed and signed. The application form must have original signature.
- One Passport type photograph
- Computer generated flight itinerary from the travel agent or copy of roundtrip airline ticket
- Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required if the traveler stayed in an affected area 6 days prior to the trip
- Business Letter from U.S. company
- AA Passport Service order form
NOTE: For LONG TERM VISA – Visa is valid one month from date of issue, for stay up to 30 days. Issued to enable applicant to finalize, in Madagascar, a long term stay through the Ministry of Interior. Application should clearly specify that the applicant applies for one month visa for the purpose of obtaining a long term visa in Madagascar.
