Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens
TOURIST or TRANSIT
Please note that after 31st December 2011, all U.S. nationals expect to visit Sri Lanka have to apply visa online through ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) system.
NOTE: The Sri Lanka ETA will be valid for 90 days from the date requested and will allow a stay of 30 days.

- Good quality copy of the valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page)
- One Tourist Evisa Application Form OR Business Evisa Application Form completed and signed
- One Passport size photograph (with clear or white background)
- Business Letter from U.S. company (applicable for business purposes)
- Letter of invitation from the Host Company or Organization in Sri Lanka (applicable for business purposes)
- AA Passport Service order form
