Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens
TOURIST VISA
- Submit valid U.S. Passport /must valid at least 6 months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page.
- 2 Tajikistan Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed
- 2 Passport-type photographs
- Cover letter addressed to the Embassy of Tajikistan requesting a tourist visa, or, visa support letter from Tajikistan confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Copy of the flight itinerary
- Hotel Reservation
- Copy of the passport data page
- AA Passport Service order form
- For minor applicant: For the children under 16, the parents should submit a notarized letter stating that the children will be accompanied by parents.
- Private Stay (visiting friends/relatives): Your Host in Tajikistan must apply for an approval for your visa to be issue. The invitation MUST be from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan or Ministry of Interior Affair
NOTE: For those traveling to GBAO or Pamir region, it is required to submit a letter stating that the applicant is requesting a permit to enter the mentioned area. The permit will be issued at the same time as your visa. The fee for the permit is an additional $50.00 on top of the visa fee.
BUSINESS VISA

NOTE: For those traveling to GBAO or Pamir region, it is required to submit a letter stating that the applicant is requesting a permit to enter the mentioned area. The permit will be issued at the same time as your visa. The fee for the permit is an additional $50.00 on top of the visa fee.
